OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General dated November 9, 2011, and pursuant to Sections 672.38, 672.39 and 672.4 of

Chapter C-46 of the Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985, the Criminal Code, is pleased, effective November 28, 2011, to:

a) reappoint Peter Lederman, Q.C., Truro, Colchester County, as a member and Chair of the Nova Scotia Review Board for a term of three years;

b) determine the remuneration of Peter Lederman, Q.C. be at the rate of $150.00 per hour to a maximum of 55 hours per month, together with reasonable expenses; and

c) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Peter Lederman, Q.C. and indemnify him from personal liability provided the Province is satisfied the claim arises out of his activities in relation to his appointment and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
