OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated March 9, 2000, pursuant to Sections 6 and 7 of
Chapter 20 of the Acts of 1990, the Nova Scotia Film Development Corporation Act, is pleased to: (
a) reappoint Bonita Kirby of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member and as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Film Development Corporation for a further term of office commencing March 1, 2000, and ending February 28, 2001; (
b) reappoint the following persons as members of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Film Development Corporation, each to hold office for a further term commencing March 1, 2000, and ending February 28, 2001: David Pember of Lunenburg, Lunenburg County; Vanessa Morrison of Baddeck, Victoria County; (
c) appoint the following persons as members of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Film Development Corporation each for a term of office of two years commencing March 1, 2000, and ending February 28, 2002: Martin J. Pink, QC of Yarmouth, Yarmouth County; Dr. Owen Ferguson of Truro, Colchester County; and Michael Conde of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; (
d) approve the payment of remuneration in the amount of $100 for each member of the Board for each day spent at Board meetings; and (
e) approve the payment of necessary and reasonable expenses the Board members may incur in carrying out their duties.
