OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated March 5, 2015, and pursuant to subsection 7(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act , is pleased to approve the Minister of Natural Resources:

a) acquiring Squid Island (PID 60107612), which is located in Mahone Bay, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia, which is outlined in bold on the map marked

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, from 3033412 Nova Scotia Limited or its approved successors and assigns for a contribution of $400,000 towards the purchase price of $580,000 plus any legal, appraisal or survey costs incurred by the Minister in respect of the purchase, subject to the Mahone Islands Conservation Association contributing the remainder of the purchase price, being $180,000, and provided 3033412 Nova Scotia Limited or its approved successors and assigns, is able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and

b) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
