CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Municipal Expropriation Act [Assented to March 31, 1954] Rev. Stat. c.151, s.22 amended 1(1)

Section of The Municipal Expropriation Act is amended by inserting after the word “owner” in the fourth line the following: “or where the title to land to be used for such purpose is in the name of the municipality”.

(2) The said

section is further amended by adding thereto the following subsection: “

(2) The approval of the minister to the plan may issue when the minister is satisfied that the council can acquire the land by agreement with the owner or that the title to the land is in the name of the municipality”. 1954, c.35, s.1.
