The information must be submitted within 60 days of the member’s return from outside the Province. An Act respecting Accountability for Ministerial Travel Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario, enacts as follows: 1.

(1) Any member of the Executive Coun- cil of Ontario who travels to areas outside Ontario on Government of Ontario business shall, within 60 days of returning from his or her travels, submit the information set out in subsection (2) to, (

a) the Legislative Assembly if the Assem- bly is sitting; or (

b) if the Assembly is not sitting, to the Clerk of the Assembly.

(2) The following information shall be sub- mitted under subsection (1): (

a) a written

summary of the purpose of the travel and of any accomplishments resulting from the travel, including a listing of the benefits in terms of tan- gible investments and employment opportunities that the travel will bring to Ontario; (

b) a detailed statement of all expenses incurred by the member, as well as by any staff accompanying the member; (

c) a listing of individuals and organiza- tions contacted and with whom meet- ings were held; and (

d) a detailed

summary of the significant terms and conditions of any contract signed during the travel period.

(3) If information is submitted to the Clerk of the Assembly under clause (1) (b), the Clerk shall ensure that the information is pub- lished in The Ontario Gazette as soon as possi- ble. 2. This Act comes into force on the day it receives Royal Assent. 3. The

(1) Les membres du Conseil exécutif de l’Ontario qui font des voyages à l’extérieur de l’Ontario dans le cadre de leurs fonctions sou- mettent les renseignements visés au paragra- phe (2), dans les jours qui suivent leur retour de voyage :

a) soit, à l’Assemblée législative, si elle siège;

b) soit, au greffier de l’Assemblée, si celle-ci ne siège pas.

(2) Les renseignements suivants sont sou- mis aux termes du paragraphe (1) :

a) le résumé écrit du but du voyage et des réalisations qui en ont découlé, y com- pris la liste des avantages obtenus sur le plan des placements tangibles et des occasions d’emploi que le voyage offrira à l’Ontario;

b) l’état détaillé de toutes les dépenses en- gagées par les membres, ainsi que par tout membre du personnel qui les a accompagnés;

c) la liste des particuliers et des organisa- tions qui ont été contactés et avec les- quels des réunions ont été tenues;

d) le résumé détaillé des conditions impor- tantes de tout contrat signé pendant la durée du voyage.

(3) Si des renseignements lui sont soumis aux termes de l’alinéa (1) b), le greffier de l’Assemblée les fait publier dès que possible dans la Gazette de l’Ontario. 2. La présente loi entre en vigueur le jour où elle reçoit la sanction royale. 3. Le
