Statute: Nova Scotia Jobs Fund Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic and Rural Development and Tourism dated March 26, 2012, and pursuant to Sections 3 and 5 of

Chapter 40 of the Acts of 2011, the Nova Scotia Jobs Fund Act, is pleased to: (

a) authorize a transfer to the Nova Scotia Jobs Fund and charge to the Capital Account an amount not to exceed Three Hundred Four Million Dollars ($304,000,000.00); (

b) rescind OIC 2010-87 which authorized financial assistance not to exceed Twenty Million Dollars ($20,000,000.00) to Irving Shipbuilding Inc.; and (

c) provide investment by way of loan to Irving Shipbuilding Inc , in an amount not to exceed Three Hundred Four Million Dollars ($304,000,000.00), on terms and conditions generally as outlined in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation of the Minister of Economic and Rural Development and Tourism dated March 26, 2012.
