OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated September 26, 2008, and pursuant to subsection 47(1) of

Chapter 240 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Judicature Act, is pleased, effective on and after October 21, 2008, to determine the following manner of publication of the revision of the Civil Procedure Rules made by the judges of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia and the revision of the Civil Procedure Rules made by the judges of the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, under the Judicature Act on June 6, 2008, (the revisions), instead of publication in the Royal Gazette: (

a) publishing the revisions online on the Courts of Nova Scotia website; (

b) providing a copy of the revisions to each of the following: (

i) the librarian for the judges of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal; (ii) the Legislative Library of the House of Assembly; (iii) the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society Library at Halifax; (iv) the Sir James Dunn Law Library of Dalhousie Law School, Dalhousie University.
