OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated January 27, 2023, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 9 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the AIDS Advisory Commission Act , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Kaothar Bello of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) and William Hatfield of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as members of the Advisory Commission on AIDS, both for a term of two (2) years commencing March 7, 2023; (

b) reappoint William C. Hart of Halifax Regional Municipality (Seabright) and Rosanne LeBlanc of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as members of the Advisory Commission on AIDS, both for a term of three (3) years commencing March 7, 2023; (

c) reappoint Denise Rooney of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a member and designate her as Chair of the Advisory Commission on AIDS for a term of three (3) years commencing March 7, 2023; and (

d) order that Denise Rooney be remunerated for her services as Chair of the Advisory Commission on AIDS in the amount of $1,000 per annum, to be paid on a pro rata basis.
