Order in Council 547/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Combating Human Trafficking Act, 2021

January 1, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Combating Human Trafficking Act, 2021 , c. 21, being the Accommodation Sector Registration of Guests Act, 2021 come into force:

Schedule 1, s. 1-8.

January 1, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provision of the Combating Human Trafficking Act, 2021 , c. 21, which amends the Accommodation Sector Registration of Guests Act, 2021 , comes into force:

Schedule 1, s. 9.

January 1, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provision of the Combating Human Trafficking Act, 2021 , c. 21, which repeals the Hotel Registration of Guests Act , comes into force:

Schedule 1, s. 10.
