Springdale

Municipal Planning Area

under the

Urban and Rural Planning Act

(O.C. 96-173)

Under the authority of

section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act

and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act

, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the Springdale Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING

AREA

Beginning at the highwater mark on the southwestern shoreline of Hall's Bay at a point 425 metres due north of the

Trans Canada Highway

Then in a generally northwesterly direction along the 400 metre reservation on the north side of the Trans Canada Highway to a point 400 metres northwest of Route 390 to Springdale and 400 metres northeast of the Trans Canada Highway;

Then in a generally northeasterly direction along the 400 metre reservation on the north side of Route 390 to

Springdale

to the centre line of the

Kings Point Road

, Route 391;

Then north 46 00' east a distance of 1,200 metres, more or less, to the southwestern tip

of an unnamed pond;

Then north 32 30' east a distance of 6,500 metres, more or less, to the southwestern tip

of Gossard Pond;

Then north 76 00' east a distance of 6,000 metres, more or less, to the southwestern tip

of Deer Pond;

Then following the southern shoreline of Deer Pond in a generally northeasterly direction to where the power transmission line crosses the eastern tip of that pond;

Then south 58 00' east a distance of 1,200 metres, more or less, to the summit of an unnamed hill;

Then south 42 00' west a distance of 4,600 metres, more or less, to the summit of an unnamed hill;

Then south 64 30' east a distance of 6,000 metres, more or less, to the summit of Bob Head;

Then due south a distance of 400 metres, more or less, to the highwater mark on the shoreline of Hall's Bay;

Then following the northern shoreline of Hall's Bay in a generally southwesterly direction and including

Green

Island

and

Burnt

Island

, to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to grid north.
