It also provides for the roll- back of above the guideline increases in rent if the landlord ceases to incur the costs that justified the increase and for the rescission of agree d increases in rent where there are no further costs incurred by the landlord for the additions provided to the tenant. Le projet de loi modifie la Loi de 1997 sur la protection des locataires en vue d’empêcher que les loyers augmentent au-delà du taux légal si un ordre d’exécution de travaux n’a pas été exé- cuté. Il prévoit également l’annulation des augmentations de loyer d’un pourcentage supérieur au taux légal si le locateu r cesse de subir les coûts qui justifiaient l’augmentation, ainsi que la révocation de conventions d’augmentation de loyer lorsque le locateur ne subit plus d’autres coûts relativement à ce qui est fourni en plus au locataire.
