Order in Council 288/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to paragraph 4 of subsection 5(1) of the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation Act, 2002 (the “Act”), the Lieutenant Governor in Council, the federal government and Toronto city council may jointly appoint one member to the board of directors of the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation;

And

whereas pursuant to subsection 5(5) of the Act, the board member appointed jointly by the Lieutenant Governor in Council, the federal government and city council is chair of the board;

And

whereas subsection 5(4) of the Act provides that a board member is eligible to be reappointed;

Now therefore , pursuant to subsection 5(4) and paragraph 4 of subsection 5(1) of the Act,

Stephen Diamond of Toronto

be reappointed as a member of the board of directors of the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not extending beyond June 30, 2023, effective March 21, 2023.
