OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables dated January 25, 2024, and pursuant to clauses 16(1)(

b) and (

c) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act , is pleased, effective on and after February 27, 2024, to approve the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables: (

a) granting an easement being a maximum of 20 metres wide to His Majesty the King in right of Canada, as represented by Fisheries and Oceans Canada, on Crown lands currently identified as portions of PIDs 35238104 and 37541695 and shown in bold and dashed lines on the plan marked

Schedule “A” (to be verified by survey), attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) transferring to His Majesty the King in right of Canada, as represented by Fisheries and Oceans Canada, the administration and control of Crown lands identified as PID 35238096 containing approximately 15.75 hectares (38.92 acres) and located in Sonora, Guysborough County, as shown shaded dark grey and outlined in bold in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation for $60,000, plus HST, as applicable; and (

c) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
