Definition

In this Order, "biogas project" means a biogas or landfill gas generating facility in the province.

Exemption

Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is exempt from the Electrical Power Control Act, 1994

and the Public Utilities Act

for all aspects of its activities respecting the purchase of electrical power and energy from a biogas project under a power purchase agreement with a producer, including the integration of electrical power and energy from a biogas project into Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro's forecasting, system planning, system engineering and supply.
