OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated June 9, 2003, pursuant to
Section 4 of
Chapter 355 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Primary Forest Products Marketing Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint the following person as an alternate member of the Nova Scotia Primary Forest Products Marketing Board for a term of office commencing May 1, 2003, and ending April 30, 2005: Isaac Matthews of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a person not engaged in the production, marketing or processing of primary forest products; (
b) reappoint the following persons as members of the Nova Scotia Primary Forest Products Marketing Board, for a term of office commencing May 1, 2003, and ending April 30, 2005: Brent Silver of Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, as a person not engaged in the production, marketing or processing of primary forest products; Alexander MacDonald of Port Hood, Inverness County, as a woodlot owner who is not engaged in the sawmill industry or the pulp and paper industry; Michael Gillis of Baddeck, Victoria County, as a person experienced in the sawmill industry; (
c) reappoint the following person as an alternate member of the Nova Scotia Primary Forest Products Marketing Board for a term of office commencing May 1, 2003, and ending April 30, 2005: Douglas Lees of New Glasgow, Pictou County, as a person experienced in the sawmill industry; and (
d) reappoint Brent Silver as Vice-Chair of the Nova Scotia Primary Forest Products Marketing Board during the term of his appointment.
