Order in Council 203/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas it is desired that ministerial responsibility for the Ontario Science Centre be temporarily transferred;

Therefore , pursuant to subsections 2(2), 5(1) and 8 (1) of the Executive Council Act , and despite any provision of a statute or Order in Council, the responsibility for the administration of the Centennial Centre of Science and Technology Act is hereby assigned and transferred from the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport to the Minister of Infrastructure;

FURTHER, Orders in Council O.C. 1198/2022 and 1209/2022 dated August 29, 2022 and published in The Ontario Gazette on September 17, 2022, are hereby amended and shall be interpreted accordingly.

This Order in Council is effective on February 8, 2024.
