Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture dated September, 10, 2020, and pursuant to

Section 3 of

Chapter 308 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Natural Products Act, and

Section 18 of the

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Carol Versteeg of Hardwood Lands, Hants County, as a member of the Natural Products Marketing Council for a term of five years commencing October 1, 2020; (

b) determine that Carol Versteeg be remunerated for her service in the amount of $100.00 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling her duties as a member provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally paid to members of the civil service; and (

c) revoke the appointment of Laurie Hennigar, Centreville, Kings County, as a member of the Natural Products Council, which appointment was made by Order in Council 85-275, dated April 1, 1985 commencing October 1, 2020.
