OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Human Rights Act dated June 7, 2013, and pursuant to
Section 26 of
Chapter 214 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Human Rights Act, and
Section 18 of
Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the
Interpretation Act, is pleased, effective July 6, 2013, to: (
a) revoke the appointment of David Shannon as Director of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission, made by Order in Council 2012-13, dated January 10, 2012; and (
b) appoint Tracey Williams as Acting Director of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission for a term of one year.
