OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated October 25, 2016, and pursuant to Sections 4 and 7 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased to, effective November 1, 2016: (

a) assign all affairs and matters relating to trade policy, interprovincial and international trade negotiations, agreements and disputes and the development of the Province’s strategic approach to international markets, to the Honourable Michel P. Samson, who may be referred to as the Minister of Trade; and (

b) confirm that all affairs and matters relating to trade policy, interprovincial and international trade negotiations, agreements and disputes and the development of the Province’s strategic approach to international markets for administrative purposes are attached to the Department of Intergovernmental Affairs and are prescribed in the duties of the Deputy Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs.
