OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated March 15, 2017, and pursuant to subsection 7(

c) and clause 16(1)(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, and

Section 77 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act , is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to: (

a) issue a grant or deed to convey parcels of Crown lands containing approximately 201 hectares (496 acres) located at Biggars Lake, East Quinan, Yarmouth County, and shown outlined in bold and shaded in grey on the plan marked “Schedule A”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation, to Go-Canada Development Limited, a body corporate having its registered office at Little Brook, in the County of Digby, Province of Nova Scotia, or its approved successors and assigns; (

b) accept from Go-Canada Development Limited, or its approved successors and assigns, in exchange for the conveyance in (a), parcels of land containing approximately 376 hectares (930 acres) located at Little Bear Lake and Wagners Lake, Middle Clyde River, Yarmouth and Shelburne Counties, shown outlined in bold with no shading on the plan marked “Schedule A”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation, subject to the condition that Go-Canada Development Limited or its approved successors and assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

c) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purpose of this Order.
