Order in Council 931/2026

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Safer Streets, Stronger Communities Act, 2024

July 1, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Safer Streets, Stronger Communities Act, 2024 , c. 27, which amend the Change of Name Act , come into force:

Schedule 2, s. 1-3.

July 1, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provision of the Safer Streets, Stronger Communities Act, 2024 , c. 27, which amends Christopher’s Law (Sex Offender Registry), 2000 , comes into force:
