OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, dated March 17, 2020, and pursuant to

Section 80 of

Chapter 156 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Expropriation Act, is pleased to: (

a) extinguish the right of the public to use that portion of the public highway, identified as Parcel A, containing an area of 800 square metres, more or less, located at or near Athol, Cumberland County, more particularly described in

Schedule “A” and shown on

Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) authorize the conveyance of Parcel A to Jocelyn Ruth Smith of Athol, Cumberland County for the consideration of $3,500.00 plus $525.00 HST; (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to affect the conveyance of the land herein above described, and (

d) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purpose of this Order.
