Mount Moriah Municipal Planning Area

under the

Urban and Rural Planning Act

(O.C. 96-173)

Under the authority of

section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act

and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act

, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the Mount Moriah Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING

AREA

Beginning at a point at the highwater mark on the southside of Humber Arm and also being the common boundary with the

Corner Brook

city boundary;

Then south 30 00' west a distance of 200 metres, more or less, to the centre line of the Canadian National Railway line;

Then south 54 30' west a distance of 150 metres, more or less, to the summit of

Mount

Moriah

Then due south a distance of 375 metres, more or less, to the summit of Mount Mary Ann;

Then south 39 00' west a distance of 3,600 metres, more or less, to the centre of the bridge on Cooks Brook;

Then north 65 00' west a distance of 3,625 metres, more or less, to a point where a small stream flows out of an unnamed pond;

Then north 29 30' east a distance of 4,000 metres, more or less, to a point on the shoreline of the Humber Arm where a brook flows into the Humber Arm, that brook being 400 metres southeast of the intersection of Donahue's Road and Route 450;

Then following the shoreline of the Humber Arm in a generally easterly direction to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the grid meridian.
