Section of the Gaming Control Act,

chapter G-1.5 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 2008, is amended L’article de la

a) in subsection (1) by striking out the portion preceding paragraph (

a) and substituting the follow ‐ ing:

Section 34.41 of the Act is amended by adding after subsection (2) the following: 2 L’article 34.41 de la Loi est modifié par l’adjonc ‐ tion de ce qui suit après le paragraphe (2) : 1 34.41(2.1) Despite subsection (2), in the case of a li ‐ censee whose licence was issued or renewed in accord ‐ ance with paragraph 207(1)(

f) of the Criminal Code (Canada), the Registrar, on written request by the licen ‐ see, may authorize the records to be kept outside the Province subject to any terms and conditions that the Registrar may impose. 34.41(2.1) Par dérogation au paragraphe (2), le regis ‐ traire peut, dans le cas d’un titulaire d’une licence déli ‐ vrée ou renouvelée au

Section 34.5 of the Act is amended by adding after subsection (3) the following: 3 L’article 34.5 de la Loi est modifié par l’adjonction de ce qui suit après le paragraphe (3) : 34.5(4) A charitable or religious organization that is a licensee in accordance with paragraph 207(1)(

f) of the Criminal Code (Canada) shall use for charitable or religious purposes within the Province the net proceeds of tickets sold in the Province in a lottery scheme, in ac ‐ cordance with the requirements established by regula ‐ tion. 34.5(4) L’organisme religieux ou de bienfaisance qui est titulaire d’une licence au

f) du Code criminel (Canada) est tenu d’utiliser, à des fins religieuses ou de bienfaisance, dans les limites de la pro ‐ vince, les recettes nettes provenant de la vente, dans la province, de billets d’une loterie en conformité avec les exigences fixées par règlement. 34.5(5) For the purposes of subsection (4), “net pro ‐ ceeds” means gross proceeds less the administrative ex ‐ penses of conducting and managing the lottery scheme that are approved by the Registrar and the cost of the prizes offered in the lottery scheme. 34.5(5) Aux fins d’application du paragraphe (4), « re‐ cettes nettes » s’entend des recettes brutes, moins, d’une part, les frais administratifs qu’approuve le registraire pour la tenue et la gestion de la loterie et, d’autre part, le coût des prix offerts dans le cadre de celle-ci. 4 This Act or any provision of it comes into force on a day or days to be fixed by proclamation. 4 La présente loi ou l’une quelconque de ses disposi ‐ tions entre en vigueur à la date ou aux dates fixées par proclamation.
