OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Energy dated September 27, 2006 and pursuant to

Section 16 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and

Section 10 of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, is pleased, effective on and after January 1, 2007, to: (

a) approve the designation of Conserve Nova Scotia as a special operating agency made by Treasury and Policy Board in the form set out in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; (

b) approve the establishment of an operating charter for Conserve Nova Scotia containing the objects of the special operating agency, and terms, conditions and other provisions governing its operations established by Treasury and Policy Board in the form set forth in

Schedule "B" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (

c) designate the President/Chief Executive Officer of Conserve Nova Scotia as a deputy head withing the meaning of the Civil Service Act.
