Schedule 8 to the Alberta Fishery Regulations in

respect of the waters listed in the

Schedule to this Notice have been varied by

Variation Order 26-2009 by the Director of Fisheries Management in accordance with

section 3 of the Alberta Fishery Regulations.

Where fishing with gill nets is permitted during an open season established by the

Order, the gill net mesh size has been specified in the Order.

Pursuant to Variation Order 26-2009 commercial fishing is permitted in accordance

ii)- that portion which is less than 4.57 m (15 feet) deep and which is east of the point

of land on the south shore where the shoreline is intersected by the northern boundary

of SW2-74-8-W5 to the point of land where the eastern boundary of SE2-73-6-W5

intersects the shoreline (Canyon Creek to Slave Lake townsite);

iii) that portion which is less that 4.57 m (15 feet) deep and which is east of the point

of land on the north shore where the shoreline is intersected by the western boundary

of SE17-75-9-W5M to the point of land where the eastern boundary of NW27-75-8-

W5M intersects the shoreline (Narrows towards Big Stoney Point); and

iv) that portion which is less than 4.57 m (15 feet) deep and which is east of the point

of land on the north shore where the shoreline is intersected by the western boundary

of NW30-75-7-W5M to the mouth of the Martin River in NW18-75-6-W5M (east of

Big Stoney Point to Marten River).
