OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the administration of the Liquor Control Act dated August 22, 2006, and pursuant to subsections 4(1) and (2), clause 12(

f) and subsections 19(2), (3) and (4) of

Chapter 260 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Liquor Control Act, is pleased to: (

a) approve the terms of the sale of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation property at 71 King Street, Shelburne (the "Shelburne property") which terms are more particularly set out in

Schedule "B" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; (

b) authorize Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation, as agent of Her Majesty in Right of the Province, to sell and convey the Shelburne property for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of the Province; (

c) authorize the President and another officer of the Corporation to sign the deed of transfer and authorize the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation to authorize a single person to sign other documents necessary to complete the closing of the transactions; and (

d) authorize the Department of Transportation and Public Works to transfer the net proceeds of sale of the Shelburne property to the Corporation on the closing of the transactions.
