On motion, the Member for Bonavista was acclaimed Vice-Chair.

The Commi ttee agreed t o allow unaffiliated Members pr esent to par ticipate in the proceedings in the following manner: The Committee agreed to allow the unaffiliated Member in attendance to ask questions after every two rounds of questions from the Official Opposition and Third Party. On motion, the Minutes of May 8, 2023 were adopted as circulated. The Committee recessed proceedings at 10:32 a.m. and resumed at 10:44 a.m. The Co mmittee review ed and passed, w ithout amendment, the Estimates of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation.
