Johnston BILL Pr3 AUBURN BAY RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION TAX EXEMPTION ACT (Assented to , 2011) WHEREAS the Auburn Bay Residents Association, an association formed under the Companies Act, and being the registered owner of the lands hereinafter described, has by its petition prayed that it be enacted as hereinafter set forth and it is expedient to grant the prayer of the petition; THEREFORE HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, enacts as follows: Tax exemption PLAN The lands legally described as: BLOCK LOT EXCEPTING THEREOUT ALL MINES AND MINERALS AREA: 24.26 HECTARES (59.95 ACRES) MORE OR LESS shall be exempt from all municipal taxes and school taxes of every nature whatsoever except for local improvement taxes, for so long as they remain the property of Auburn Bay Residents Association and are used exclusively for the recreational and social enjoyment of the members of the Association, and for so long as the Association remains a non-profit corporation.
