Order in Council 315/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 514/2020, dated March 12, 2020, Dr. Dirk Webster Huyer was reappointed as Chief Coroner for Ontario and as General Inspector of Anatomy, effective from the 1 st day of April 2020, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not to exceed three years from the effective date of these appointments;

And

whereas it is desirable that Dr. Dirk Webster Huyer be further reappointed as Chief Coroner for Ontario and as General Inspector of Anatomy;

Therefore pursuant to subsection 3(1) of the Coroners Act , as amended, Dr. Dirk Webster Huyer is hereby reappointed as Chief Coroner for Ontario, effective from April 1, 2023, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a further period not to exceed three years from the effective date of this reappointment;

And therefore pursuant to subsection 2(1) of the Anatomy Act , as amended, Dr. Dirk Webster Huyer is hereby reappointed as General Inspector of Anatomy, effective from April 1, 2023, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a further period not to exceed three years from the effective date of this reappointment.
