B.C. Reg. 54/2010 , deposited March 2, 2010, pursuant to the BUDGET TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT [Section 24]. Order in Council 106/2010, approved and ordered March 2, 2010.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Administrator, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective March 2, 2010, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance and Deputy Premier after consultation with the Auditor General,

(a)

section 1 (2) of the Exemption Regulation, B.C. Reg. 27/2002 is amended by adding the following paragraph:

(

h) Homeowner Protection Office. , and

(

b) the following

section is added:

BC Rail

3 The British Columbia Railway Company and its subsidiaries, as defined in

section 1 of the British Columbia Railway Act ,

(

a) are exempted from the application of sections 13 [service plans] and 14 [major capital plans] of the Budget Transparency and Accountability Act , and

(

b) with respect to the 2010/2011 and subsequent fiscal years, are exempted from the application of

section 16 [annual service plan reports] of the Budget Transparency and Accountability Act .
