(

a) the Closed Areas Regulation, B.C. Reg. 76/84, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 1,

(

b) the Hunting Regulation, B.C. Reg. 190/84, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 2,

(

c) the Motor Vehicle Prohibition Regulation, B.C. Reg. 196/99, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 3,

(

d) the Public Access Prohibition Regulation, B.C. Reg. 187/2003, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 4, and

(

e) the Wildlife Act Commercial Activities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 338/82, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 5.

Appendix 1

1 Sections 2 and 3 of

Schedule 2 of the Closed Areas Regulation, B.C. Reg. 76/84, are repealed.

Section 28 (7) of

Schedule 5 is amended by adding the following paragraph:

(

d) within 0.4 km of the centerline of Highway 113 between Terrace and Kincolith (Gingolx).

3 Sections 70 and 72 of

Schedule 5 are repealed.

Section 105 (

b) of

Schedule 5 is amended by striking out " ; between 0930 hours and 1530 hours daily ".

Schedule 5 is amended by adding the following sections:

Cowichan River Park

135 That portion of M.U. 1-04 being within 100 m of the high water mark of the Cowichan River from a point starting on the river immediately north of the Holt Creek Trailhead, then upstream generally west and north along the Cowichan River to the intersection with the Municipality of Lake Cowichan.

Crawford Bay

136 That portion of M.U. 4-06 in the vicinity of Crawford Bay contained within the following described boundaries:

Commencing at the point of intersection of the northerly boundary of the right of way of Highway 3A and the westerly natural boundary of Beaver Creek; thence southerly along the westerly natural boundary of Beaver Creek to the point of intersection with the midline of Peters Road; thence southerly along the midline of Peters Road to the point of intersection with the southerly boundary of Sublot 101, Kootenay Land District; thence easterly along the southerly boundary and along the southerly boundary of Lot 2335 to the point of intersection with the natural boundary of Crawford Bay; thence in a general easterly direction along the natural boundary of Crawford Bay on the northerly shore thereof to the point least distant from the junction of Highway 3A and Crawford Creek Road; thence easterly to the point of intersection with the easterly boundary of the right of way of Crawford Creek Road; thence northerly along the easterly boundary to the point of intersection with the westerly boundary of the right of way of Wadds Road; thence southerly along the westerly boundary to the point of intersection with the northerly boundary of the right of way of Highway 3A; thence westerly along the northerly boundary to the point of commencement.

Section 21 of

Schedule 9 is repealed.

Appendix 2

Section 1 of the Hunting Regulation, B.C. Reg. 190/84, is amended

(

a) in subsection (1) by adding the following

definitions:

"kid" means a mountain goat with horns that are less than 10 cm in length;

"spike bull" means a bull elk having antlers that are composed of a main beam from which there are no bony projections greater than 2.5 cm in length; , and

(

b) by adding the following subsection:

(5) A map referred to in this regulation is in

Schedule 9 unless the area shown on the map is referred to as described in the Limited Entry Hunting Regulation.

2 Division 3 is amended by adding the following section:

Female mountain goat accompanying a kid

13.4 There is no open season for a female mountain goat accompanying a kid, including a female mountain goat in a group that contains at least one kid.

Section 16 (1) is amended

(

a) in paragraph (

d) by adding " bull " before " moose ",

(

b) by repealing paragraph (e),

(

c) in paragraph (

f) by adding " , or " after " moose ", and

(

d) by adding the following paragraph:

(

g) in M.U. 6-19, 6-20 or 6-22 to 6-25, a moose.

Section 16 is amended

(

a) in subsection (4) (
