OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated July 20, 2010, and pursuant to

Section 16 of

Chapter 197 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Health Services and Insurance Act, and in accordance with the Department of Health Construction Grant Program, is pleased to approve the expenditure of the currently budgeted Radiation Therapy Wait Time Guarantee funds from the Wait Time Trust Fund (and from the Capital District Health Authority share) for work to progress at the Nova Scotia Cancer Centre in the total amount not to exceed $7,900,000 (seven million nine hundred thousand dollars) to support the facility infrastructure and equipment costs related to meeting the federal Radiation Therapy Wait Times Guarantee, the cost of which grant is to be paid on the basis of invoiced costs submitted to the Department of Health and charged to "Capital Grants, Department of Health", to be effective on and after August 24, 2010.
