OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations dated June 6, 2011, and pursuant to Sections 10 and 458 of

Chapter 18 of the Acts of 1998, the Municipal Government Act, and pursuant to

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased to, effective June 7, 2011: (

a) declare vacant the offices of the Mayor and the Councillors of the Town of Bridgetown; (

b) appoint Robert Fowler as Mayor of the Town; (

c) appoint Anna Allen and James Thurber as Councillors of the Town; (

d) order that remuneration to Robert Fowler shall be $750 per day, and that remuneration for Anna Allen and James Thurber be $400 per day respectively; and (

e) order that reasonable expenses necessarily incurred by any of these appointees in carrying out their duties shall be paid to them in accordance with Provincial Government policy.
