OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated October 20, 2020, and pursuant to
Section 6 of
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased to, effective October 21, 2020, approve the Attorney General and Minister of Justice entering into a Memorandum of Agreement with Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada, as represented by the Privy Council Office, regarding a Joint Public Inquiry into the events surrounding the mass shooting which took place in Nova Scotia on April 18 and 19, 2020, subject to such variations as the Attorney General and Minister of Justice determines are necessary and do not materially change the nature of the agreement.
