OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources, dated November 30, 2011, and pursuant to subsection 7(
a) of
Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia1 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to:
a) acquire land at Pine Lake, Oakfield, Elderbank, and Waverley, Halifax County, and at MacPhees Corner and Urbania, Hants County, Nova Scotia, being identified in the Agreements of Purchase and Sale as PIDs 00614156, 00512228, 40265373, 00572214, 45375243, 40164998, 40164980, 40771800, 40441909 and 45103454 and outlined in bold on the maps marked Schedules "A" to "J", which are attached to and form part of the Report and Recommendation, from Ledwidge Lumber Company Limited, its respective executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors and assigns for a purchase price of $1,010,100 plus any legal, appraisal or survey costs incurred by the Minister in respect of the purchase, subject to the condition that Ledwidge Lumber Company Limited, its respective executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors and assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and
b) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
