The Federal-Provincial Farm Assistance Act is hereby ame.nded. 2.

Section is amended by adding the following clause after clause (d): (

e) the organization and use of workers for farming and related industries; 3. This Act comes into force on the. day upon which it is assented to. Explanatory Notes I. This Bill will amend

chapter of the Revised Statutes of Alberta 1970. 2.

Section presently reads: 2. For the purpose ,of obtaining for Alberta the benefits of any ar rangements or proposals of the Government .of Canada -relating to any or all of the following matter.s, that i.s to. say: (

a) farm or other land use and 'Conservation, including irrigation and water development; (

b) farm credit; (

c) crop insurance; (

d) ruml development proje-cts; the Minister of AgriC'ultureils hereby empowered to enter into agree ments with the appropriate Ministers lof the Government of Canada to that purpose and may obligate the Pr.ovince to. any extent co.nsidered necessary to o.btain any such benefit or to effe-ct any such arrange ments or propos-als in A,l'berta.
