Order in Council 1246/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas an Order in Council, to appoint a chief executive officer of the Education Quality and Accountability Office pursuant to subsection 16(1) of the Education Quality and Accountability Office Act, 1996 , is submitted for approval;

Therefore , the chief executive officer shall receive:

An annual rate of remuneration of $259,240;

The standard pension and benefit entitlements of OPS executives.

And further , this Order in Council shall be effective for a period not exceeding two (2) years, effective the later of September 1, 2023 and the date this Order in Council is made.
