An Act Respecting Acadia University

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Education dated October 8, 2003, and pursuant to

Section 10 of

Chapter 134 of the Acts of 1891,

An Act Respecting Acadia University, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint John B. Carter of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Governors of Acadia University, for a term of six years commencing October 23, 2003; (

b) appoint the following persons as members of the Governors of Acadia University, each for a term of six years commencing October 23, 2003: George Bishop of Hantsport, Hants County; and David Fountain of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality.
