Order in Council 1057/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas responsibility for the administration of the Health Protection and Promotion Act was assigned to the Minister of Health by Order in Council O.C. 1110/2019 dated August 8, 2019;

Therefore, pursuant to subsections 2(2), 5(1), and 8(1) of the Executive Council Act , and despite any provision of a statute or Order in Council, the Minister of Health and Minister of Long-Term Care shall share responsibility for the administration of

section 78 of the Health Protection and Promotion Act , as it relates to long-term care;

And further, the Appendix to Order in Council O.C. 1110/2019 dated August 8, 2019, and the Appendix to Order in Council O.C. 1111/2019 dated August 8, 2019 are hereby revised and shall be interpreted accordingly.
