OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Community Services dated January 7, 2019, and pursuant to
Section 21 of
Chapter 27 of the Acts of 2000, the Employment Support and Income Assistance Act , is pleased to amend the Employment Support and Income Assistance Regulations , N.S. Reg. 25/2001, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 2001-138 dated March 23, 2001, to improve how applicants/recipients (and their dependents) are treated when there is noncompliance with employment related requirements, in the manner set forth in
Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, effective on and after March 1, 2019.
