EXPLANATORY NOTES

This Bill would amend the House of Assembly Accountability, Integrity

and Administration Act to require members of the House of Assembly to

complete the orientation and training programs offered by the Speaker of the

House of Assembly.

Orientation and training

Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and

House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows:

as amended

Section 22 of the House of Assembly Accountability, Integrity and Administration Act

is amended by adding immediately after subsection (2) the following:

(2.1) A member shall complete the orientation and

training programs referred to in subsections (1) and (2).
