OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Finance dated January 3, 2008, is pleased, effective on and after March 31, 2008, (

a) pursuant to clause 2(

n) and

Section 17 of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, and clause 19(

f) of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, to repeal the Insured Prescription Drug Plan Trust Fund; and (

b) pursuant to

Section 80 of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, to approve the amendment made by the Minister of Finance to the Governmental Unit and Government Business Enterprise Designations Regulations, N.S. Reg. 268/2007, made by the Minister of Finance on April 17, 2007, and approved by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 2007-256 dated May 4, 2007, to strike out the Insured Prescription Drug Plan Trust Fund from the list of entities designated as governmental units, in the manner set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation.
