An Act to Establish the Shubenacadie Canal Commission

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables dated April 19, 2022, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 97 of the Acts of 1986,

An Act to Establish the Shubenacadie Canal Commission , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Anne Patterson of Maitland, Hants County, and Dr. Jan Raska of Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth), as members of the Shubenacadie Canal Commission, each for a term of four (4) years, effective June 3, 2022; and (

b) reappoint Katherine MacLellan of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a member of the Shubenacadie Canal Commission, for a term of three (3) years commencing June 3, 2022.
