Order in Council 74/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Order in Council 675/2020, dated April 22, 2020, establishes the Premier’s Council on Equality of Opportunity;

And

whereas it is considered desirable that the Premier’s Council on Equality of Opportunity be accountable to the Minister of Citizenship and Multiculturalism and the Premier of Ontario;

Therefore, pursuant to the prerogative of His Majesty the King in Right of Ontario to establish advisory bodies and to provide for the appointment of advisors to serve His Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities, Order in Council 675/2020 dated April 22, 2020, establishing the Premier’s Council on Equality of Opportunity, be amended by striking out “the Minister of Children, Community and Social Services” wherever it appears and substituting in each case “the Minister of Citizenship and Multiculturalism”.
