Citation

1 These regulations may be cited as the Off-highway Vehicle Fines Regulations.

Definitions

2 In these regulations,

“Act” means the Road Trails Act ;

“ Off-highway Vehicle Equipment Regulations ” means the Off-highway Vehicle

Equipment Regulations made under the Act.

Offences and penalties

(1) A person who violates subsection 3(1) or (2) or

Section 4 of the Off-highway

Vehicle Equipment Regulations is guilty of an offence and liable on

summary

conviction to the penalties provided for a category A offence in the

Summary

Proceedings Act .

(2) A person who violates

Section 5 or 6 of the Off-highway Vehicle Equipment

Regulations is guilty of an offence and liable on

summary conviction to the

penalties provided for a category C offence in the

Summary Proceedings Act .

(3) A person who violates

Section 7, 8 or 9 of the Off-highway Vehicle Equipment

Regulations is guilty of an offence and liable on

summary conviction to the

penalties provided for a category F offence in the

Summary Proceedings Act .
