Section 8 of
Chapter 213 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Housing Development Corporation Act, is pleased to approve the Nova Scotia Housing Development Corporation entering into the F/P/T Affordable Housing Framework (2011-2014) and the new Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation-Nova Scotia Agreement for Investment in Affordable Housing 2011-2014, substantially in the form attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation as
Schedule "A", which allow for the use of the existing provincially funded Senior Citizens Assistance Program (SCAP) and Provincial Housing Emergency Repair Program (PHERP) to make up the additional federally required cost-shared funding from April 1, 2011 to March 31, 2014.
