Order in Council 900/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to the prerogative of His Majesty the King in Right of Ontario to appoint persons to serve His Majesty's Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Shawn Batise

be appointed Deputy Minister of Indigenous Affairs and First Nations Economic Reconciliation, effective the date this Order in Council is approved and ordered, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not extending beyond August 11, 2024.

And further that Order in Council O.C. 1571/2021, dated November 24, 2021, as amended by Order in Council O.C. 1222/2022, dated September 14, 2022, be revoked effective the date this Order in Council is approved and ordered.
