Order in Council 1230/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

whereas 366956 Ontario Limited, operating as Garden Lake Timber, a corporation incorporated under the laws of Ontario (the “ Company ”), desires to continue to operate a forest resource processing facility in Shuniah, Ontario (the “ Facility ”);

and

whereas the Company was a successful proponent in Stage II of the Province of Ontario’s Wood Supply Competitive Process and as a result Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario as represented by the Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry proposes to enter into an agreement with the Company for a supply of Crown forest resources to be made available for the Facility in accordance with sections 24 and 25 of the Crown Forest Sustainability Act, 1994, S.O. 1994, c. 25;

now therefore, pursuant to subsection 25(1) of the Crown Forest Sustainability Act, 1994, S.O. 1994, c. 25, the Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry is hereby given approval to enter into the supply agreement numbered 536271 with the Company for a supply of Crown forest resources, being an annual target volume of 10,000 cubic meters, to be made available to the Company for use at the Facility.
