Order in Council 479/2026

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

the portions of highway in the City of Windsor, County of Essex, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, described in

Schedule “A” attached, be:

designated as the King’s Highway, pursuant to

Section 7 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990,

chapter P.50, as amended; and

transferred to the Corporation of the City of Windsor and be vested in and under the jurisdiction and control of the Corporation of the City of Windsor on and after the day on which this Order is approved, pursuant to subsection 29(4) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act , R.S.O. 1990,

Chapter P.50, as amended.
